EX16 Where the bathymetry of Okanagan Lake actually is

Neither is a download. The lidar delivery is 174 GB and is held by OBWB; the 1966 sheets are scanned raster PDFs, not georeferenced and not vectorised, with an unstated vertical datum. Ask your instructor if your work genuinely needs the deep bathymetry. The gap between 16.6 m and 242 m is itself a finding: the productive depth band of this lake has no modern survey.

What it contains, and where it is: A pointer, not a file. The best bathymetry that exists for Okanagan Lake is the NV5 2021 topobathymetric lidar: 0.108 m vertical accuracy at 95 per cent, but it mapped only 53 per cent of the bed and returned nothing below about 16.6 m. The only measurement below that is the 1966 BC Fish and Wildlife sounding sheets, six scanned sheets showing a maximum depth of 794 ft, 242.0 m.
