The Canada–British Columbia Okanagan Basin Agreement study: the physical and chemical baseline for every lake in this project, and still the most complete survey this basin has had. 68 PDFs, every one linked directly.

Why these are direct links

The OBWB landing pages embed every chapter in a Google Docs viewer, twenty iframes on a page. Opening one makes a browser try to save all of them at once, so you end up with files called viewer(1), viewer(2) and nothing you can read. The links below go to the PDFs themselves.

One supplement appears to be missing

Supplement IV, Water Quality and Waste Loadings in the Okanagan Basin, has a page on obwb.ca, but that page links the Supplement I files rather than its own. As far as this catalogue can tell, Supplement IV is not actually published there.

If your work needs it, say so rather than assuming it does not exist: it exists on paper, it just does not appear to be online. That is a different kind of gap from the ones in section 2 of the library, and it is worth recording as such.

Two parts of this study have been digitised, so you do not have to read numbers off a scan:

  • EX13 — Appendix C, the 1971 water chemistry: 3,991 rows, five lakes, depths to 220 m.
  • L2, L3, L4 — the 1972 to 1974 temperature and oxygen profiles, as the library describes them.
