This is CHEMISTRY, not the temperature and oxygen profiles: those are L2, L3 and L4. Two traps. Phosphorus is reported as PO4 in places and as P in others, and the conversion factor is about 3.066, so use value_as_P and say you did. And below_detection and not_determined are real flags: a blank is not a zero, so filter on them before computing any mean.

What it contains, and where it is

Water chemistry against depth from the 1971 sampling behind the 1974 Basin Study: five lakes, 12 stations, four seasons, depths from 1 to 220 m, nine characteristics including nitrate, ortho-phosphate, chloride and silica. 3,991 rows, digitised from Appendix C with the printed value preserved alongside the cleaned one.
